Elite year allows American players…
An accelerated year of soccer development in a soccer specific environment tailor-made to each individual player.
To gain valuable soccer development to put them on par with International Recruits coming out of Europe without losing a year of eligibility.
To develop the mental, physical, technical, and tactical components of their game so they are ready from the first day of their freshmen year.
A better opportunity to be recruited by the school of their choice, maintain eligibility, and advance with their coursework to work on post-graduate studies earlier.

A TRUE SOCCER EXPERIENCE IN A SPANISH TEAM

Players will be placed into true Spanish teams based upon their level of play. This may include being placed into youth divisions such as Liga Nacional, Division de Honor or divisions of Adult Football such as Preferente.
Players will have approximately 3 trainings per week with their Spanish Team, an individualized session with the CIS Elite Staff, and then one game on the weekend.

PLACEMENT BACK IN THE US
The End Goal of The Elite Year Program is to place student-athletes back into top American Universities. Through accelerated development on the field, and continued education off the field, this allows players the best chance to be recruited by the schools of their choice.
